The Clean CT™ System

The Clean CT-01™ system is the ideal, green alternative for HVAC water treatment. The patented Clean CT-01™ HVAC system of environmentally safe cleaning agents cleans and maintains HVAC closed and open loop systems in commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential environments. The Clean CT-01 Product Line

Clean CT-01

Clean CT-O1 is the star of the Clean CT system. Formulated of mainly food-grade type ingredients it is used in new applications to gently and safely remove scale and corrosion from all wetted metal surfaces. Read more.

Clean CT-02

CT-02 softens scale and corrosion in combination with Clean CT-01™ where serious problems have formed. More acidic and less abrasive than Clean CT-01™ allowing it to slowly soften and loosen fouling. CT-02 Contains passivating compounds designed to protect the interior surfaces of the entire system.

CT-O3

CT-03 is used to maintain system efficiency following cleaning with Clean CT-01 and/or CT-02. CT-03 contains passivating compounds designed to protect the interior surfaces of the entire system.

Clean CT-01 LFWA

Clean CT-01™ LFWA (Low Foam Wetting Agent) is a surfactant (surface active agent) supplied in a liquid format. It is to be used in conjunction with CT-01™ during the descaling process and during the operation and maintenance of open loop systems

Clean CT-01 TestTab™

The conventional method of testing the effect of chemical treatment additives in HVAC and hydronic systems is by measuring the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water. TDS measurements only provide an indication of what is currently in the water, it does not measure the actual activities of the chemical additives. This short coming has resulted in many systems being either over or under-treated with chemicals. TestTab™ provides an actual indication of the Clean CT-01™’s ability to perform its function and ensures the continued, efficient operation of the systems being treated. The TestTab™ test system works by utilizing titration – In chemical analysis, titration is a procedure used to determine the amount of a constituent in a sample by adding a measured volume of reagent until the reaction between the constituent of interest and the reagent is completed. The test uses a sample of the Clean CT-01™ treated coolant water to react with (sequester/chelate) the calcium in a TestTab™ prepared solution. When the calcium reacts with the coolant, it causes a change in the solution’s color.
